This is Module 1 of 3 within the Pharmacology and Developmental Disabilities webinar series, part of the Professional Development Webinars focused on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). This module examines new medications and new forms of medications commonly prescribed for people with developmental disabilities. It also reviews treatment for autism, what you need to know about generic compounds, and strategies to share information about these developments in pharmacology. The links on the right will allow you to access all other intellectual and developmental disabilities professional development courses offered through this collaboration.

By the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify new aspects of medications used with people who have developmental disabilities
