The first webinar in the series explores the concepts and practices of the DCC model and defines the term disability. Webinar viewers will examine the differences between age-related disabilities, different disability types and the functional limitations and bias that participants may experience. This webinar provides a thorough understanding of the attitudinal shift from the traditional medical model to the patient-centered model. The webinar also introduces the seven pillars of the DCC model which is covered by subsequent webinars in more detail.
