  • The different categories of dual eligibility and the ways in which enrolling different categories of dually eligible individuals into D-SNPs can impact a state’s ability to integrate Medicare and Medicaid benefits and streamline D-SNP enrollees’ experiences of care;
  • What D-SNPs are and how they differ from regular Medicare Advantage plans;
  • The basics of D-SNP contracting with states, including required minimum contract elements; and
  • The differences between Coordination Only (CO) D-SNPs, Highly Integrated Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (HIDE SNPs), and Fully Integrated Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (FIDE SNPs).
