Description:

Training beneficiaries dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid and their caregivers for engagement is vital to the success of any delivery system’s consumer advisory committee or member-composed board of directors. To develop an informed and strong consumer voice, these members must be educated about how care gets delivered, the purpose and promise of meaningful engagement and the resources available to assist them in their new roles. This webinar outlines how to create a training curriculum that on-boards consumers and caregivers – no matter what their abilities, disabilities, strengths or weaknesses – to be work together and be effective. The webinar includes real-life examples of training successes as well as common challenges and solutions.

Webinar Presenters:

  • Moderator: William Dean, Delivery System and Consumer Engagement Manager, Community Catalyst
  • Margo Michaels, Health Care Access and Action Consulting
  • John Arnold, Project Manager, Ohio Consumer Voice for Integrated Care, UHCAN Ohio
