COVID-19 dashboards and reporting systems are essential tools most health plans use to better identify members’ COVID-19 vaccination status and conduct targeted outreach during the public health emergency. They also allow health plans to understand the sub-populations for which they should focus their efforts to improve member vaccination rates.
Three health plans – LA Care, Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA), and Molina Healthcare – shared their top successes, challenges, and key takeaways gleaned during the public health emergency regarding COVID-19 dashboard development. The tip sheet highlights five of the plans’ top tips for how they leveraged dashboards to facilitate member outreach and engagement. The infographic includes real-world examples of the dashboards the plans developed.
The target audience for these products include a wide range of stakeholders, including health plan administrators, clinical leadership, care coordinators, and case managers at health plans (including Medicare-Medicaid Plans (MMPs), Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs), and managed Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) plans), as well as providers and other health care and community-based organizations interested in strategies related to the communication, tracking, and delivery of COVID-19 vaccinations.
