The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will host a webinar on August 10, 2023 to provide an overview of the Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) Model that aims to support people living with dementia and their unpaid caregivers.
CMS is accepting letters of interest for the GUIDE Model through September 15, 2023, and will release a Request for Applications (RFA) for the model in Fall 2023. The model will launch on July 1, 2024, and run for eight years.
During the overview webinar, the GUIDE team will discuss the goals of the model, eligibility, participant types, care delivery requirements, performance assessment, and payment. The forum will also provide guidance on the application process, timeline, and resources available.
